Michael Jackson’s Body Awaits Burial

Much like everything else surrounding his death, the decision of where to bury Michael Jackson’s body is being fought over by those he left behind.

For now, the King of Pop’s casket is being held in a crypt owned by Motown Records founder Berry Gordy at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills Court of Remembrance.

Michael’s dad Joseph and brother Jermaine are hoping to bury his body at Neverland Ranch with the hopes that they could turn the property into a museum, much like Elvis Presley’s Graceland.

However, mother Katherine Jackson and the rest of his siblings think the idea would be disrespectful as Michael never wanted to return to Neverland after a police investigation back when his child molestation court case was going on.
